It has been raining and raining.
Gloomy days and gloomy nights.
Days without the sun seem longer somehow.
A constant dripping.
But then God sends a rainbow to remind me of his care.
And I think of Noah…and I am ashamed.

Beautiful pictures, dear Karen, and I loved your poignant ending. ❤ We're hoping for rain to arrive this weekend to wash away the forest fire smoke from our skies. Looks like you haven't been able to hang out laundry either.

Thanks, Wendy. I struggled to get pictures that weren’t too blurry. Rain is hard to photograph. I know they could be much improved. I will pray the rain comes your way.

I haven’t mastered rain pictures either–yours worked well. Thank you for the prayer. Our province and island have been under a haze for over a week now.

Oh dear. A slow steady rain would really be a blessing. …and I feel ashamed again. 🙂

Don’t feel shame, dear friend. I could go down the shame lane if I think about those who’ve not only lost use of their clotheslines–they’ve lost their homes too. I find endless rain depressing; it’s a haze of a different kind. 🙂
